March 29th Sunday Services

Dear First Southern Family,

I pray you are all having a wonderful week and seeing God’s blessings in your lives in unexpected ways! We know our God works all things together for good for those who love Him and are called according to His purpose, and this situation is no exception!

Thank you all who were able to join us this past Sunday, either at one of our watch parties or from home on Facebook LIVE and Youtube LIVE. On Facebook alone, we were able to reach 575 people! Our service was shared 9 times as well, and many wonderful comments were left in the comment section. Thank you all for your great participation!

My how things change quickly! Governor Holcomb has officially given the “Shelter In Place” mandate for the state of Indiana, which means that we are permitted only to leave home for essential needs. In light of that, I believe the best course of action for this Sunday would be to discontinue the Watch Parties and I would encourage everyone to join us for worship from home with your families. The different outlets for that are:

Facebook LIVE – The Live stream will come up when it’s time

Youtube LIVE feed on our church website  https://www.fsouthern.net/media/streaming-services/

Our service will still air at 10:30 a.m. Eastern Time. We will have Scripture Reading, Prayer, Musical Worship, and a Message from God’s Word as part of the service. After the live broadcast is over, I encourage you to spend time with your family discussing the things that were preached about. Pray for our country, our President and leaders, for the sick, and for those around the world who are battling this pandemic.

Please feel free to email us if you have any questions. I thank God for you and praying for you all during this time!
